# Overview

* Every day, 918.75 MEGA, or 7%, of liquid community treasury volume is distributed as staking interest.
* Megaton Finance’s MEGA staking process is as follows.
  1. By staking the amount of MEGA specified in each staking tier, NFTs will be issued.
  2. The unstaking feature is activated after 180 days of staking.
  3. Users will receive their principal and interest in a lump sum and their NFTs will expire automatically when they unstake.
