# Staking

* Multiple tiers of staking are possible in a single wallet.
* The lockup period for staking is 180 days.
* The membership benefits are applied while staking, and if the user does not unstake after the expiration date, the membership benefits will be continued.
* When a stake is initiated, the lockup period and holding expiration date begin.
* Staked MEGA and interest at maturity are claimable after the lockup period.
